Record udhar in a few seconds
Pick the customer, type the amount, add a note if it helps later. That is the whole entry. The balance updates immediately, so the figure on screen is the figure you can quote when they next walk in. If the sale had a bill, attach a photo of it to the same entry — up to five images or PDFs — so there is nothing to reconstruct from memory a month later.
Jama and udhar stay separate and readable
Every entry is either You Gave (udhar) or Payment Received (jama). They are never merged into one running figure you have to unpick. When a customer pays part of a larger balance, the part payment sits in the ledger on its own line with its own date, which is exactly the detail that ends disagreements.
Due dates instead of guesswork
Set a due date on a customer when the credit is given. The customer list then shows who is overdue without you opening each ledger one by one. For a shop carrying a hundred udhar accounts, that single view is the difference between chasing the right five people and chasing nobody.
Bring the old udhar book with you
You do not have to retype years of history to start. Enter an opening balance per customer and record only new activity from today, or import a CSV of customers and balances in one go. The import previews every row before saving, skips duplicates, and the whole batch can be reverted if something looks wrong.

Is this udhar khata app free?
Yes. Recording udhar, payments and customers is free, and there is no limit on how many entries you can make. You sign in with your mobile number and an OTP.
Can I use the udhar khata in Hindi?
Yes. BahiQo supports Hindi, Hinglish, Punjabi, Baagdi and English, and you can switch language any time from Settings.
What happens to my udhar khata if I lose my phone?
Your ledger is stored on the server, not only on the handset. Sign in on a new phone with the same mobile number and the full khata is there. You can also remove the lost device from your account so it can no longer open your ledger.
Can my staff record udhar too?
Yes. Add staff to your business and they can record entries against the same customer list, so the counter does not have to wait for you.
