BahiQo vs OkCredit, without the spin

Both are free digital khata apps built for the same job. The honest difference is what each one is better at, not which one is universally better.

OkCredit is the most established udhar tracker in India, with years of reminder infrastructure and eleven languages behind it. BahiQo is newer and narrower in some ways, stronger in others. This page compares the two directly rather than asserting BahiQo wins everywhere, because it does not.

Where OkCredit is ahead

In-app UPI collection lets a customer pay directly from a reminder, which BahiQo does not yet offer. OkCredit also supports eleven languages against BahiQo's five, and its reminder and WhatsApp integration is more mature, having been built out over several years. If your priority is collecting payment as fast as possible from inside the reminder itself, OkCredit currently does this better.

Where BahiQo is ahead

Moving an existing khata across is the clearest difference. BahiQo's CSV import shows a preview of every row with validation results before anything saves, skips duplicates automatically, and lets you revert an entire import if the mapping was wrong. It also allows up to five invoice photos or PDFs on a single ledger entry, so a dispute over what was actually given is settled by the bill attached to the line, not a memory of the sale.

Device and account control

BahiQo shows named devices with login history and lets you remotely log out a lost or stolen phone from another device — a control that matters the moment a phone goes missing and is not something either app markets heavily, but BahiQo builds it in from the ledger's core.

The honest recommendation

If you already have years of data in a paper book or spreadsheet and dread retyping it, or you need bills attached to entries for dispute resolution, BahiQo's import and attachment handling will save real time. If your priority is the fastest possible collection loop with in-app payment and you do not need migration tools, OkCredit's current feature set serves that better today.
