A kirana khata does not look like a wholesaler ledger. The amounts are small, the same twenty families appear constantly, and half the entries are made one-handed while weighing something. Any app that ignores that rhythm gets abandoned within a week.

Search by name or number and your frequent customers surface immediately. For a store where the same families buy on credit every second day, not hunting through a list is most of the value. Add a photo to a customer and recognition gets faster still, which matters when two families share a surname.
Part payments are normal, so they are easy
Kirana credit is rarely settled in one clean payment. Somebody pays two hundred against eleven hundred on a Tuesday and the rest after salary. Record the part payment, the balance adjusts, and both the payment and the remaining figure stay visible with their dates. Nothing has to be rewritten.
Know who is overdue before the shutter goes up
Set due dates on the accounts that need them and the customer list flags who has passed theirs. Checking that in the morning is a different experience from trying to remember at the counter who has been slow, particularly at month end when collection actually happens.
The family can help without confusion
Most kirana stores are run by more than one person. Add your family or helper to the business and everyone records against the same customer list from their own phone, so the khata does not depend on one person being present.

Yes. The app is available in Hindi, Hinglish, Punjabi, Baagdi and English, switchable at any time in Settings.
My customers pay a little at a time. Does that work?
Yes. Record each part payment as it comes in. The balance updates automatically and every payment keeps its own date in the ledger.
Can my wife or helper also record entries?
Yes. Add them as staff on your business and they can record against the same customer list from their own phone.
